Our story and purpose

TYPS was founded by Daryl Givner and Harold Moore who had a clear mission: to create meaningful opportunities and practical support right here in North Carolina. We believe strong communities start with neighbor-to-neighbor engagement and inclusive initiatives designed to uplift everyone involved.
